2024 SOLAR ECLIPSE

What a stellar day it was yesterday as South Harrison Community School Corporation joined millions of people across the country in witnessing the awe-inspiring solar eclipse! From the heart of Indiana, our students and community members had a front-row seat to this celestial spectacle, and it was truly a sight to behold.

As the path of totality swept across Indiana, throngs of eclipse enthusiasts descended upon our state to witness the rare phenomenon. The skies above Indiana turned to twilight as the moon obscured the sun, creating a moment of wonder and amazement for all who were fortunate enough to witness it.

As a reminder, next year SHCSC will implement virtual learning on inclement weather days. This modification to our schedule will ensure continuity of education while accommodating construction projects planned for the 2024-2025 school year. So, whether it's a snow day or a solar eclipse, SHCSC students will always have the opportunity to learn and grow.

Yesterday's solar eclipse was a magical moment that brought our community together in awe and wonder. As we continue our journey of exploration and discovery, let's cherish the memories of this celestial event and look forward to many more cosmic adventures ahead!
