Preferred Qualifications:
Based on P.L. 107-110,section 1119© (1), all paraprofessionals hired after January 8, 2002, shall have one of the following:
1) Two years of college experience
2) Two year college degree
3) Passed the Para-Pro Assessment
4) One year or 1,000 hours of previous employment experience in a school or working with children
5) Passed annual school-level evaluations
6) Completed 48 credit hours of college level classes
7) Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentials
8) Completed LEA required professional development modules/training
9) Completed other requirements - LEA may request approval from IDOE

The CCHS Student Council will be hosting its first ever Breakfast with Santa on Sat Dec 16th from 9-Noon in our Aux Gym. In addition we are also going to have local vendors set up for everyone to enjoy some last minute shopping! This will be open to the community and all staff are invited to join!

We are excited to announce that today we are starting the Domino’s Pizza Fundraiser. The money raised will go toward Panther reader/House programs!.

Once the fundraiser is complete, they will receive the prize they selected from the highest level they qualify for.

Using your personalized link will ensure your child is given credit for the purchase.

Thursday 10/26: Pink out! Unite against breast cancer and wear the color pink!
Friday 10/27: Drugs are scary! Wear your Halloween costume (no masks, face paint or props).
***The dress code still applies during special dress-up days! Please make sure your clothing is school appropriate. You will be asked to change if you are not complying with the dress code!***
“…and the home of the Brave!” CCJHS & CCHS students & staff, do you know a veteran that would allow us to honor him/her at our Veterans Day Program? If so, let us know! It will take place Thur., Nov. 9 @ 9am in the CCHS gym. Veterans may arrive as early as 8:15am (Door #8) for coffee & other goodies beforehand. Veteran info needs to be emailed with a subject of “Vet Day” to wisemanjen@shcsc.k12.in.us no later than Mon., Nov. 6 and include:
1. Veteran’s name

3. Branch of military
4. Years of service
5. Were they part of a foreign war (if so, when/where)

CCJHS is collecting gently used Christmas trees and decorations to do our 2nd annual House tree auction (in Nov).
