Today we were joined by nine Harrison County agencies to discuss school safety matters. A big thank you to all the agencies that joined us and everyone's ongoing effort to ensure our students remain safe and protected in our schools!

Corydon Jr. High Swim Team
In years past, our Jr. High swim club was combined with North Harrison and Lanesville teams to be one Harrison County team. That changed at the last minute, so I am going to do my best to give our kids a chance to swim this year. Due to the last minute changes, I admit I can’t answer all your questions right now, but I promise to try and find the answers as soon as I can.
I will be your contact, and will be at most all practices and meets, and I was very lucky to find some high school swimmers that are excited to help.
Important Information you’ll need to know…
• Since swimming is a club sport in jr. high, registration is through the YMCA. Go to the following website (ymcaharrison.org) and click on Middle School Swim Club to register your swimmer.
• The cost is $65/swimmer.
• Each swimmer will need a one-piece (competition style) suit, goggles, and a cap (highly recommended but not required)
• Practices will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00-5:00 at the YMCA pool. (I may need to work on switching some Friday practices, so don’t be surprised if I notify you of a change.)
• First practice will be Wednesday, February 14 (They must be registered to swim), and it will run until Spring Break.
• The meet schedule will be out soon. *All swimmers will be responsible for finding their own transportation to meets.
• Open to 5th-8th graders
